Therapist

Care for children, teens, adults, and couples.

Hi, my name is Liz. I’m a graduate-level intern working toward my Master’s in Counseling Psychology at Delaware Valley University. I previously graduated from Penn State with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and from Ashworth Career School’s Pharmacy Technician program. I’m experienced in developing IEP/504 Plans and providing accommodations in schools for autistic children and teens. I also have experience working with teens diagnosed with substance use disorders and mental health needs in higher-level care.

I was once told that we need to be comfortable with being uncomfortable. When something feels uncomfortable, embrace that feeling, it usually means something significant is happening! My hope as a therapist is to work with you through those uncomfortable feelings, help you understand them, and help you navigate safely to the other side.

I enjoy working with teens and young adults, and with people of all ages who are members of the LGBTQ+ community. In the past, I have used a combination of CBT, DBT, and person-centered approaches to address my teen clients’ unique needs. I feel that everyone is the expert in their life and experiences, and it is my job as a therapist to understand from my client’s point of view. I bring an eclectic mix of authenticity, warmth, and curiosity to all my sessions, and provide a safe space for clients to heal.
